Christmas Mixer and Mahjong Tournament - December 13, 2008 (Saturday) at Eddie Shek's residence
La Salle old boys, friends, and family are invited to LSCOBA-SC's annual Christmas Mixer to enjoy a night among friends during the holiday seasons.

  Date: Saturday, December 13, 2008
  Time: 2:00 p.m. till you have enough
  Place: Eddie Shek's residence (4727 Katherine Ave, Sherman Oaks, CA 91423) [map]
  Cost: $20.00 per person
  Program:

  • 4th LSCOBA-SC Mahjong King Championship.
    • Heat starts at 2:00 p.m.
    • Final starts at 4:00 p.m.
    • The Champion is entitled to retain the trophy for 1 year.
    • Entry fee: $7.00 (for trophy)
    • Rules: Cantonese Mahjong, 13 pieces with a multiples of 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10.
  • Other programs will start at 5:30 p.m.
    • Gift exchange - each guest is required to bring a gift (suggested value $15 and unisex) for Christmas gift exchange
    • Karaoke - bring your favorite DVD/VCD and showcase your singing talent.
    • Card Games - Poker, UNO....etc
    • Eat, Drink and Chat with fellow LaSallians in a casual setting. Feel free to bring in food and wine if you want.

Photography Interest Group gathering
The Photography Interest Group had its kick-off meeting on November 15, 2008 (Saturday) and will be meeting and organizing field trips regularly. If you are interested in joining us, please contact group convener Charles Tsang ('83).

Soccer Team Practice - Every Sunday 9:00am at Arcadia High School

The team meets every Sunday 9:00am at Arcadia High School (180 Campus Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007). We will start on the grass area for a light warm-up, then move to the main soccer field when available at around 9:30am.

Join us if you enjoy playing soccer, want to keep fit, or just like to hang out and have fun with fellow LaSallians in an outdoor setting. If you have any questions, please contact team manager Joseph Cheng ('72). See you at our next practice!
